USDA certified "Organic" foods are prohibited from using: herbicides, pesticides, genetic engineering, synthetic fertilizers, irradiation, sewage sludge, hormones, or antibiotics.
There are implications of what Genetically Engineered Foods (GMOs) might do to our bodies in the long term. Some of these ideas are controversial, but generally speaking, our customers are not interested in eating food which are sprayed with pesticides or even create their own inherent pesticides which uninformed people may be eating when they consume conventional foods.
